Yoga, Fascia and functional movement of the foot

It took millions of years of evolution for man to reach his current stature. Our feet are the only point of contact between the body and the ground.

Come and explore this on the yoga mat.

Saturday, 18 November, from 2pm to 4pm with Lucinda and Petra

MEMBER PRICE: 35 CHF
NON-MEMBER PRICE: 45 CHF

The 26 bones of the foot form an ingenious and complex structure that allows us to stabilise the body during dynamic movements.

Although we mainly think of the foot's bones, muscles and ligaments as responsible for our stability and locomotion, the fascias, their tension and elasticity, play an essential role in transferring forces during movement.

In this workshop, Lucinda will show you how the plantar layers of the foot form a network of interconnected fascial lines, which enable optimal foot function and human performance.

We will train the fascial elasticity of the feet to transfer forces more efficiently through the feet and improve movement integration and efficiency.

We look forward to studying and practising with you and hope to see many of you at the Usine on 18 November.
